Even after full validation, continuous monitoring through Process Verification is crucial to ensure consistency in product quality is maintained when the process transfers to routine commercial manufacturing. Key performance indicators are established to continuously track critical quality attributes and look for potential process drifts using statistical techniques. This ongoing verification supports maintaining the validated state of the manufacturing process.

Through comprehensive facility, equipment and process validation as well as continuous verification, biopharmaceutical manufacturers can scientifically prove their manufacturing capabilities to consistently produce high quality products as per global regulatory expectations.
